Humatrope 5 mg Vial for HGH Replacement Therapy
What is Humatrope?
Humatrope is a Bio-Identical form of Recombinant Human Growth Hormone by Eli Lily. There are two primary ways that Humatrope is injected: Using the HumatroPen and using a standard needle and vial.
When you receive Humatrope, you will find that it comes in a Humatrope Kit, which holds a vial of lyophilized Humatrope measuring five milligrams, and a vial of reconstituting fluid or diluent, which also measures five milliliters. Before using it for the first time, the diluent and the lyophilized HGH much be combined.
What does Lyophilized mean?
Lyophilized means that the Humatrope has been freeze-dried to help it store and travel better. Reconstituted Human Growth Hormone has a relatively short shelf life in comparison and is much less resistant to tampering. Your Humatropin will appear as a fine, white powder.
Humatrope Vial Indications
For adults, Humatrope can be prescribed for the treatment of Adult-Onset HGH Deficiency, or HGH Deficiency which begins in childhood. The following are common reasons why Humatrope is prescribed for adults:
Pituitary Trauma
Damage from Cancer Therapy
Damage from surgery
Hypothalamic Disease
Pituitary Abnormalities
Age-Related Growth Hormone Deficiency
For pediatric patients, the following are reasons why Humatrope HGH Vials are prescribed:
Children who were small for their age when born who have not caught up to their peers by two to four years of age
Children suffering from SHOX Deficiency
Children suffering from Idiopathic Short Stature, or unexplained abnormally slow growth
Children with Turner Syndrome
Children with innate HGH Deficiency
How Can I Buy Humatrope 5 mg Vial
To purchase the product, you must be diagnosed with Human Growth Hormone Deficiency or another condition for which Bio-Identical Humatrope is indicated. Humatrope cannot be purchased legally off-label.
We recommend contacting a licensed and board-certified medical clinic if you are interested in HGH Injection Therapy. They can perform the necessary diagnostic tests and determine your eligibility for treatment.
What Are the Advantages of Humatrope Vial vs. the HumatroPen?
Both of these forms of Recombinant Human Growth Hormone Replacement Therapy are highly effective at treating both Childhood and Adult-Onset HGH Deficiency. Overall, buying Humatrope by the vial is more cost-effective than buying the HumatroPen HGH Pen and the necessary cartridges.
What are the Disadvantages of the Humatrope Vial vs. the HumatroPen?
The main advantage of the HumatroPen is that it is easier to use. Both the Cartridges and the Vials require Reconstitution before use, but you only have to replace needles with the HumatroPen, because the device does not use syringes. Reconstituted HumatroPen Cartridges are also kept for two weeks longer than Reconstituted Humatrope Vials.
Humatrope Vial Safety Information
Some people are advised against using Humatrope for various reasons, including patients experiencing significant medical issues resulting directly from abdominal or heart surgery. Patients with severe breathing problems should also avoid HGH Injections and patients that have recently experienced a traumatic injury.
Patients who are highly obese and suffer from Prader-Willi Syndrome should also avoid Humatrope and other forms of HGH Deficiency because of the increased risk of breathing-related problems.
Humatrope should not be used by patients that are nursing or pregnant.
What Are the Side Effects of Humatrope 5 mg, HGH Vial
When used appropriately and under the guidance of a medical professional, Humatrope has a low incidence of side effects, most of which are pretty mild. The following are some of the more common symptoms that both adults and children may experience while utilizing this form of HGH Therapy:
Hypothyroidism
Allergic Sensitivity or Reaction to the Mixing Solution
Irritation at the Location of Injection
The following are side effects that adult patients may experience when using Bio-Identical Humatrope:

Generally, these symptoms can be eradicated simply by adjusting the dosage of your Humatrope Injections.
Humatrope Vial General Information
Never share or reuse needles under any circumstances. This increases the risk of illness, infection, and irritation and can be very dangerous.
The Humatrope Vial, needles, and all related equipment should be kept somewhere safe and out of the reach of children that aren't old enough to take care of the product themselves.
For Injectable Humatrope to be effective, it is crucial always to administer the treatment on schedule and consistently to deliver the dose prescribed, no more and no less.
Some patients may be allergic to ingredients used in the diluent, including glycerine and metacresol. Substitute forms of HGH mixing liquid are available for allergic patients. If you or a loved one experience an allergic reaction to Humatrope HGH Injections, contact your medical representative as soon as possible.
The diluent that comes with the Humatrope Vial is designed and intended for use with Bio-Identical Humatrope HGH. Never use an alternative form of diluent unless advised by your physician because this can affect the medication, most notably the shelf-life of the treatment.
How Do I Store Humatrope 5 mg Vials?
Bio-Identical Humatrope is very temperature-sensitive and must be held under refrigeration whenever you aren't using it. This applies to the HGH Product in both its lyophilized and reconstituted forms.
Maintain the Human Growth Hormone at a temperature between 36-46 degrees. Unlike Humatrope Cartridges, which last four weeks, Reconstituted Humatrope Vials are only suitable for two weeks and must be disposed of on their expiration date.
Important Information about Reconstituted Humatrope and Diluent
Always keep your Diluent and your Lyophilized Humatrope under refrigeration.
Never freeze the Humatrope, nor the diluent, as this can severely limit the effectiveness of the treatment.
Be aware of the expiration date on your vials of Recombinant Humatrope and its Diluent. Never use expired HGH Products.
After reconstituting your Humatrope with its diluent, you must use the product within two weeks. The medication must be injected within 24 hours if you use sterilized water for reconstitution.
If you have diluent left after reconstitution, do not recycle that diluent for your next batch.
Never mix old and new Reconstituted Humatrope.
It is essential to use your Humatrope Injections on schedule. If you are traveling, we provide a particular cooler device that will protect the potency of your HGH as you travel, complete with freezable gel packs.

How to Mix Humatrope 5 mg Vial
What You'll Need to Reconstitute Humatrope:
Needle-Disposal Container
Alcohol Swabs
Syringe
Diluent Vial
Humatrope Vial
Humatrope Reconstitution Step-by-Step
Wash your hands well
Inspect the expiration date on both the Humatrope and Diluent Vials
Take off the plastic cover on the vial and clean the stopper beneath with an alcohol swab
Remove the needle cover from your syringe. Pull back on the plunger until the air in the syringe is equivalent to the volume of diluent you wish to draw.
Hold the Diluent Vial firmly and pierce it with the needle. Depress the plunger slowly to evacuate the air into the vial carefully.
Turn the syringe and vial on their heads. Pull back on the plunger until you have drawn the recommended amount of diluent, plus just a little extra.
Inspect the syringe for bubbles. Touch the syringe lightly to release the bubbles to the top of the syringe. Push the air and the extra diluent back into the vial. Make sure you have the appropriate amount of diluent and lay the syringe aside on a clean alcohol swab.
Pick up the Humatrope Growth Hormone Vial and carefully remove the plastic cover. Disinfect the underlying stopper with an alcohol swab.
Take the diluent-filled syringe and pierce the Humatrope Vial with the needle. Release the diluent down the wall of the vial so that the liquid gradually makes contact with the lyophilized Humatrope. After you have delivered the diluent, draw out the needle.
Throw away both the syringe and the needle in an approved container.
Take the vial between your hands and spin it slowly with your palms. You may also agitate the vial carefully in a swirling motion. Don't shake the vial, however. Look into the solution and ensure that the HGH Product is free of particles, cloudiness, or color. If something appears amiss, contact your HGH Doctor.
Mark the Reconstituted Human Growth Hormone with a Sharpie to indicate the date at which the HGH Medication was mixed. Place under refrigeration and toss the leftover diluent.

How to Measure a Humatrope Vial Dose
Make sure your hands are washed. Inspect the date on the Humatrope Reconstituted HGH Vial to make sure the product is still fresh. Only use the solution if it is both clear and cloudless.
Clean the top of the vial with an alcohol swab.
Take the guard off of the tip of your needle. Draw the plunger back until the volume inside equals the amount of HGH you want.
Stick the needle into the Recombinant HGH Vial. Push the air into the vial. Do it carefully so as not to make bubbles.
Turn the Humatrope vial over with the needle inside. Pull in the HGH volume you'd like to inject, plus just a bit more.
Agitate the side of the syringe carefully to remove any hanging bubbles. Once all air is at the top of the solution, push it back into the vial. Make sure you still have the appropriate dose of Humatrope, then pull the needle out of the stopper.
Where to Inject Humatrope 5 mg Vial
Humatrope is intended for Subcutaneous Injection. This means that you use a short needle to inject the medication into the deepest layers of the skin, where it will slowly disseminate into the body over 24 hours. The entire body is lined with this layer, but some areas are thicker than others. The following are the ideal locations to inject your Humatrope HGH:
Below the shoulder and above the elbow, at the back of the arm.
The outer, upper buttocks
The tops of the thighs
Any area of the front of your stomach other than the area immediately adjacent to your bellybutton
How to Inject Humatrope 5 mg Vial
Clean the area you wish to inject with an alcohol swab. Start exactly where you want to inject and clean in a circle extending from that location. Let the alcohol evaporate.
Grip an area of skin between your fingers to raise it slightly. This makes it easier to hit your mark with the injection. Push the needle into the skin quickly but firmly.
Carefully depress the plunger, so the entire dose is delivered into the body. Release the skin, wait a few moments, and draw the needle out the same way you pushed it in. You may see just a bit of blood. If so, use a bit of gauze or cotton to depress the area, and use a bandage if necessary.
Toss the syringe and needle into your approved container as soon as you are finished with your injection, and put your Humatrope back under refrigeration.
