Hormone Imbalance impairs the lives of millions of Americans. While most men recognize the peril of Low-T, Human Growth Hormone Deficiency often goes unrecognized and untreated. HGH is a lynchpin of cellular metabolism, important during development and throughout every day of our lives.

While HGH Therapy is effective for the restoration of healthy Growth Hormone Levels, many are turned off by the idea of daily injections to achieve intended results. While Subcutaneous Growth Hormone Shots are no more painful than the mild prick of an insulin needle, it's understandable that most people don't want to go through that nearly every day.

For that reason, Novo Nordisk created a weekly HGH Injection called Sogroya. Sogroya is designed to make Growth Hormone Therapy easier for patients, so they don't have to face the needle every single day.

This brand new HGH Treatment, generically known as somapacitan, is the first of its kind to offer a weekly dosage schedule. It is among many recent treatments designed to streamline Hormone Therapy to improve patients' lives and bring relief from Hormone Imbalance to men and women worldwide. Sogroya achieved FDA approval in late 2020, followed by acceptance by the European Union months later in 2021.

How Does Sogroya Work?

Sogroya uses 21st-century techniques to slow down the rate by which the body metabolizes the introduced Human Growth Hormone. The bio-identical HGH molecule is linked to a sidechain that is designed to temporarily bond with albumin in the bloodstream, which slows down the rate by which the hormone is metabolized.

Traditional HGH Therapies with Somatropin are metabolized quickly as soon as injected into the body, just like the natural Growth Hormone released by the pituitary gland. The attachment to albumin turns the rapid absorption of HGH associated with Somatropin into a slow and steady feed of Somapacitan, safely fulfilling the patient's needs for an entire week!

Who Can Benefit from Sogroya?

Sogroya is intended for children and adults with clinically diagnosed HGH Deficiency. Like most other modern Growth Hormone Prescriptions, Sogroya is designed with ease of use in mind, utilizing an HGH Pen device rather than a traditional needle and syringe, making it easier to use and drastically reducing any risk of accidental misuse. The dosage for Sogroya is flexible to fit the patient's unique HRT needs.

Sogroya is available for HRT Patients after thorough evaluation for both safety and effectiveness. For Sogroya's final clinical trial, 300 participants were prescribed either weekly placebo, daily somatropin, or Sogroya. None of these patients had ever used Growth Hormone before. As the experiment drew to a close, patients were evaluated regarding the effectiveness of treatment via measurement of belly fat. The two groups taking HGH formulations both experienced significant loss of abdominal fat. The control group experienced no such benefit and ended up with more body fat. The relative safety and efficacy of Sogroya rivaled that of daily Growth Hormone, leading to its approval.
