Hi, I’m Jerry. I told myself about a year ago that I used to like vacations.
Sometimes we took two a year.
But I had changed. I said to myself: Vacations? Are you kidding? Forget it. I’d rather stay home and lay in bed.
Vacations weren’t relaxing anymore. They weren’t fun. They were working. And hard work at that.
I told my girlfriend Clarissa we should save money and stay home. It was no fun, too much effort. When I got to where we were going and settled in, I was too tired to do much of anything.
I needed at least a week to drag myself out of our room and didn’t want to do much even then except laze around.
She’s an active, fun-loving girl. You might be able to imagine what her reaction was! “Jerry,” she said, her voice getting louder than usual, “what the heck is wrong with you? You’re tired all the time. You never want to do anything. You’re a party pooper supreme. You canceled our trip to see family in Florida last summer, and now you want to cancel our trip to the beach. No way! I’ve been waiting for this trip all year. Panama City! I dream about it at night. And you promised!”
She went on from there, adding in some choice remarks about how I was acting twice my age – and looking it too. She said I should see a doctor.
Instead of mouthing off and feeling offended, I stopped and thought about it. She was right on all counts. I didn’t use to be this way. So, I decided I would see a doctor. I was only 38 years old. Something had to be wrong with me.
First, I confided in my best friend, Jim. He’s a doctor himself, a general practitioner, and a guy who makes it a point to stay up to date on all the latest research. He said my symptoms sounded like I might have adult-onset HGH deficiency.
HGH is a human growth hormone, and we all need it – even after we’ve stopped growing – in the right quantities, or we’ll be weak, lethargic, and appear to age before our time.
He told me about the clinic that sponsors this Web site and said it would be quick and easy to get checked to see if that was my problem. I called the toll-free number and made an appointment to get a test done. Within a few days, I had done the test, and the results were in: I suffered from HGH deficiency, which explained the symptoms that Clarissa had so diplomatically pointed out.
The doctor at the clinic devised a hormone replacement program just for me to get me back to a healthy hormone balance. I felt the effects almost right away, and now, a year later, my life has dramatically changed.
Vacations? I love them again. Sports? I’m playing more and harder than ever. Physical exercise of all kinds? Just try and stop me! I’m participating in so many fun activities that Clarissa is now the one telling me we might have to slow down sometimes because I get her so exhausted.
Friends, if you feel like you’re dying on the vine and never want to do anything fun, take my advice – give the clinic a call and get checked.
